Rana joined Wilson Harle as a law clerk in September 2025, after completing an LLB(Hons) and a BA (Philosophy / Māori and Indigenous Studies) at the University of Canterbury.

They clerked in the legal team at Te Arawhiti – Office for Māori-Crown Relations over the 2023/24 summer, before clerking at Wilson Harle over the 2024/25 summer. They spent their final semester studying philosophy at the University of Copenhagen.

While at university, Rana volunteered regularly as a case worker at Community Law Canterbury.

Rana maintains an interest in public law, employment law, and human rights law.
